Overview
You can now opt individual plugin marketplaces into automatic updates by setting autoUpdate: true on an extraKnownMarketplaces entry in enterprise managed settings.
Supported clients automatically check the marketplace and update installed plugins sourced from it, reducing manual maintenance for organization customizations. The marketplace must still be permitted by the effective strictKnownMarketplaces allowlist.
Details
This capability is generally available with Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise in the GitHub Copilot app, Copilot CLI, and Visual Studio Code.
